Alo

Alo was rescued on March 1, 2014, from the Indianapolis area when he was approx. 3 yrs old. Alo means "spiritual guide" and "he looks up" in Hopi. His owners, like many wolf-dog owners, realized that their little majestic furry friend grew up and needed more care and containment than they could provide. It was a difficult decision, but they relinquished him to Wolf PAWS, knowing that he would be well cared for and that he would finally be able to run free. He became Moonbeam's kennel mate, and they are truly a bonded pair. Alo and Moonbeam love to chase each other playing tag or ring-around-the-pond. One of Alo's favorite things is meeting new people on tours since he loves attention and getting treats! He is a very vocal boy and will often bark or howl softly in excitement when people are coming to see him.
