About our Tours

Thank you for your interest in visiting Wolf PAWS! Wolf PAWS is not open to the public. We offer private tours by appointment with a minimum of 24 hours notice.  *NOTE:  At this time, we are not requiring masks for visitors, but we ask you to practice social distancing. Our tours will be held outdoors.

Tours are limited to 4 persons and usually last ~1 hour. The tour starts with a safety briefing and an overview of Wolf PAWS, followed by a tour of the sanctuary where we can observe and interact with our resident wolf-dogs. Please note that direct contact with our wolf-dogs is possible but not guaranteed. You will want to dress like you are going hiking (short or long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are recommended). It can be quite muddy at times too, so dress accordingly. Please keep in mind we don't allow children under the age of 10 on the tours and no pets. If you do have small children and pets coming with you, they may wait in our visitor's center or in the car, supervised by an adult as you tour. There are no restrooms facilities available. Smoking is not permitted on the premises of the sanctuary.

Wolf PAWS does not charge admission for private tours. However, we do not receive any government funding and our sanctuary is run by volunteers. We rely entirely on donations to continue our mission to rescue wolf-dogs from euthanasia and to care for our resident wolf-dogs. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Tax ID 46-3490514. All contributions to Wolf PAWS are tax-deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Many people become a Pack Member for an annual donation of $50 which includes a "Pack Member" car magnet and a calendar that has photos of all our resident wolf-dogs as well as a subscription to our newsletter "The Howler".  There are other promotional items available at varying donation levels including t-shirts, coffee mugs, calendars, and photos of our animals. We also offer products made from the fur of our wolf-dogs ("Chiengora")!

Aria was a wonderful tour guide, sharing a wealth of information about wolf dogs in general, and the specifics of each wolf dog on the property. We were able to safely observe and even interact with some of the wolf dogs. Would highly recommend booking a tour to learn more about the efforts Wolf Paws is making to protect these beautiful animals.

We visited this morning and what a WONDERFUL experience! I'm glad we found out about them and glad we are locals! We will for sure be back! My daughter (16) sponsored KoKo and was so happy to meet her today and more thrilled to be able to pet her! Helen was an amazing tour guide very knowledgeable. We met Jennifer at the end, who was also very sweet and knowledgeable. Thank you all for what you do!

Wife and I went and toured the grounds and we were impressed. The staff there was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I have always been fascinated with wolves growing up and never had much of an opportunity to take a tour to see multiple wolf-dogs. You can really tell the emotions of the staff there when they were detailing the events leading to them having possession of one of the wolf-dogs. This is a great organization that focuses on saving wolf-dogs from being euthanized and caring for them as they should. I highly recommend this organization and am glad to be sponsoring one of the wolf-dogs they have in their care.

Words cannot describe the feeling of seeing these magnificent animals. Staff is very knowledgeable about each Wolf dog. We will definitely be back. It was amazing to get close to the Wolf dog experience. The video before entering was very helpful in how your mannerisms effect the wolves. I learned something today.  I found this location by looking up wolf sanctuaries. It definitely is a hidden gem. I hope to get others to donate to help keep this sanctuary running smoothly and continue care for these beautiful wolves. Thank you again for an amazing tour.
